Welcome to Livin’ Stitchin’. By accessing our website and using our longarm quilting services or purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

• Condition of Materials: Customers are responsible for providing quilt tops that are clean, pressed, and free of odors (such as smoke).
• Artistic Variation: Longarm quilting is a creative process. While we strive for perfection, minor variations in stitching or tension may occur based on the fabric type and batting used.
• Trimming: Unless otherwise specified, we may trim excess batting and backing after quilting is complete.

• Estimates: Any initial price provided is an estimate based on the dimensions and services requested. Final pricing may vary based on actual thread usage, complexity, or necessary repairs to the quilt top (e.g., fixing open seams).
• Payment: Full payment is required upon completion of services and prior to the return shipment or pickup of the quilt.

• Inbound Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost and safety of shipping their quilt top to Livin’ Stitchin’. We recommend using a trackable service and sturdy packaging.
• Outbound Shipping: We return quilts via [Insert Preferred Carrier, e.g., USPS/UPS] with tracking.
• Loss or Damage: Livin’ Stitchin’ is not liable for items lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. We highly recommend customers purchase additional shipping insurance for the full value of their finished quilt.

• Maximum Liability: In the unlikely event of damage to a quilt while in our possession due to equipment failure or human error, our liability is limited to the cost of the quilting service and the documented cost of the raw materials (fabric and batting). We cannot be held liable for the "sentimental value" of the item.

We reserve the right to refuse service for any project that we deem unfit for our machinery (e.g., quilts with heavy embellishments, excessive fullness that may cause damage, or extremely fragile vintage fabrics).

All content on livinstitchin.com, including logos, photos of our work, and text, is the property of Livin’ Stitchin’ and may not be used without written permission. We reserve the right to photograph your finished quilt for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt-out in writing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert Your State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

• The "Seam" Clause: Livin Stitchin is not responsible for seams that pop open during the quilting process if they weren't securely backstitched by the customer.  While we will try to avoid this there is the possibility if seams were not properly done it is an unavoidable side effect. 
• The "Photo" Clause: Most quilters love seeing their work on social media, per section 6 Livin Stitchin reserves the right to show off wprk performed! If a customer wants their quilt to be a "surprise gift," please let us know to delay posting.
