Livin' Stitchin' ("we", "us") operates livinstitchin.com and the customer portal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it. We are a small business; we collect only what we need to do your work.

What we collect

• Account and contact details you give us: name, email, phone, mailing address, and your login password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Your machines and projects: machine brands, models and serial numbers; quilt sizes, patterns, thread and color preferences; photos you upload of a machine or a quilt.
• Service records: repair tickets, estimates, invoices and payment records (we do not store card numbers; card payments are taken in person or through your own payment app).
• Messages you send through the contact form or the portal.
• Technical basics: the browser stores a session cookie so you stay signed in, and may remember conveniences like checklist ticks. We do not run advertising trackers.

How we use it

To schedule and perform repairs and quilting, send you estimates, updates and invoices, answer your questions, keep required business and tax records, and improve our shop's reference knowledge. Photos you upload are seen only by our staff to diagnose and plan your job. We never sell or rent your information.

Sharing

We share information only with services needed to run the business (our web host, email delivery, and shipping carriers when you ship a quilt), and when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile, machines and preferences in the portal at any time. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, email info@livinstitchin.com. We keep invoices and payment records as long as tax law requires.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, uploaded photos have their location metadata removed, and the customer portal only shows you your own records.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
